The Illusion of Rainbows

I was 21 when I found out I was pregnant for the first time in my life, and I was 21 when I miscarried. In fact, it happened in the span of 3 days total. I was 5 weeks pregnant by the time I figured it out. I had accepted it and been excited about it by the time I began bleeding just 2 days later. I think it should be talked about. I’m not afraid to make people uncomfortable with this anymore. This happened, and it is not shameful, and it is not my fault. It just is.
